Minnehaha Glow-worm Walk – NIGHT-TIME FUN!

This short walk is highly recommended! It leads through virgin lowland rainforests to visit Glow-worms!

You’ll discover a great variety of different types of forest trees, tree ferns and mosses alongside a small stream.

Allow 20 – 30 minutes for this loop walk and take a torch at night when stunning glow worm grottos become visible in the thick rainforest alongside the track. Get an insight into the strange life of these creatures which suspend sticky silken threads and glows to attract tiny insects to the trap.

Keep children close, especially where the track runs beside the stream.
